Join The Marquess of Winchester's Regiment at Hylton Castle and stand shoulder to shoulder with the King's Army and fight to defend the North from Parliament's forces.

You can fire a cannon, learn to be a drummer, musketeer or pikeman and fight for your King against the rebels!

If the military is not your thing then join the living history where you can learn any trade of the seventeenth century.

The Marquess of Winchester's Regiment is considered one of the premier formations in English Civil War re-enactment. The regiment has reached a high standard through the historical research and endeavours of its members. Members are proud to be a part of an organisation that constantly strives to improve its appearance and performance.
